Getting Started

The 5-Step Developer Onboarding Path

Crowdon is built for independent web game creators. You retain full ownership of your code repository and hosting infrastructure.

Step 1: Connect Your Solana Wallet

Crowdon uses wallet-native authentication with server-issued, domain-bound cryptographic challenges. Connect using Phantom, Solflare, or another standard Solana wallet. No passwords, emails, or traditional accounts are required.

Step 2: Create or Join an Organization

All games are owned by a Developer Organization. You can create a new organization as its Owner, or accept an invitation sent to your wallet address by a team member. Organizations support role-based permissions:

  • Owner: Full organization management, team invitations, ownership transfer, and archiving.
  • Admin: Game management, profile settings, and invitations.
  • Developer: Game drafts, metadata updates, media uploads, and submission.
  • Analyst: Read-only access to organization and game launch analytics.

Step 3: Complete Your Studio Profile

Configure your studio display name, unique URL slug, public description, HTTPS website, and optional contact info in Settings. This metadata is reflected on your public developer profile once you have approved games.

Step 4: Register an Externally Hosted Game

In My Games, click Create Game. Provide your game's title, public HTTPS URL, short description, category tags, supported devices (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet), and instructions.

Step 5: Upload Artwork & Submit for Review

Upload your cover artwork and thumbnail, preview the listing, and click Submit for Review. Platform staff will inspect the destination and approve the listing for publication.
