Revision Lifecycle & Immutable Snapshots
Crowdon uses immutable publication snapshots to guarantee that approved game destinations and metadata cannot be secretly altered without moderation review.
Lifecycle States
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
DRAFT | Private working revision. Editable by developers. Not visible publicly. |
SUBMITTED | Immutable snapshot created and queued for platform moderation. Draft locked against concurrent edits. |
IN_REVIEW | Staff moderator has claimed the submission and is reviewing safety, destinations, and assets. |
APPROVED | Review passed. The revision snapshot is approved and ready for explicit publication. |
PUBLISHED | Listing is live on Crowdon. Eligible for public discovery, details views, and external launches. |
CHANGES_REQUESTED | Staff requested corrections. Review notes provide details. Draft unlocked for edits. |
REJECTED | Submission rejected. Feedback explains violations or requirements. |
SUSPENDED | Platform moderation has temporarily disabled public discovery and launches. |
Published Game Updates
When you edit a game that is already PUBLISHED, the live public version continues running without interruption. Your edits create a new working draft. Once your new revision is submitted and approved, publishing it atomically promotes the new revision to live status.
Visibility Modes
- PUBLIC: Discoverable in global search, categories, and developer profiles.
- UNLISTED: Accessible via direct link only; excluded from public browse/search.
- PRIVATE: Visible only inside Developer Studio to organization members.
