Game Integration Architecture

Crowdon supports developer-owned game hosting. We provide a tiered integration roadmap from simple zero-code external links to advanced server-verified outcomes.

Tier 1: External Link (Live Now)

Active

Zero code integration. Your game runs on your existing domain. Players click "Play Game" on Crowdon, and Crowdon opens a detached, no-referrer new tab directly to your approved HTTPS destination.

  • Tracks game page views, launch attempts, and successful handoffs.
  • No cookies, scripts, or SDKs required on your game server.
  • Does not verify gameplay, active time, scores, or sessions.

Tier 2: Tracking Pixel (CRD-011)

Roadmap

Lightweight client-side telemetry. An optional <script> tag placed on your game page that sends heartbeat and arrival signals back to Crowdon.

  • Confirms the player arrived at your destination and loaded the game.
  • Enables approximate session duration and bounce tracking.
  • Client-side signals are classified as untrusted for financial/XP rewards.

Tier 3: Iframe Bridge (CRD-011)

Roadmap

Sandboxed embedded play. Allows your game to run directly inside a parent frame on Crowdon using cross-origin postMessage communications.

  • Direct gameplay without leaving the Crowdon player portal.
  • Parent portal overlays, pause states, and active window focus tracking.
  • Strict CSP and origin validation.

Tier 4: Trusted Server Integration (CRD-012+)

Future

Cryptographic server-to-server validation. Your authoritative game backend communicates directly with the Crowdon API.

  • Required for verifiable player XP, token rewards, and wager outcomes.
  • Server-signed match completions, high scores, and win/loss attestations.
  • Anti-cheat and anti-farming trust classification.
